Oscar Wilkinson is currently studying photography as an undergraduate in Manchester school of Art. His practice is heavily process focussed, investigating analogue techniques and abstraction through landscape photography. A lot of Wilkinson's work explores the Anthropocene as well as ecological succession of human made structures in the natural world. His current, ongoing work delves into the conservation of the mining industry in the UK with an intention to promote the recovery and care of rich history which has been left to decay.
